Ellie Goulding joins forces with WWF fro Heart Hour

The 25 March of last year, WWF implemented its famous “Earth Hour” and Ellie Goulding came to support it.

The “Earth Hour” project initiated by WWF encompassed more than 178 countries in 2016. This year, 187 nations participated, with more than 3,000 monuments turning their lights off for one hour. But beyond monuments, it’s also an action in which the all people can participate. The singer Ellie Goulding joined the cause, pushing her fans to join the movement with the hashtag #MakeClimateMatter.

« I first became really concerned about climate change after I became a vegetarian and started looking into the impact food production can have on the planet. I have always loved the natural world and the thought that future generations won’t get to see the species and habitats that we take for granted is both immensely sad and concerning.

« I’m calling on everyone to support Earth Hour and share #MakeClimateMatter to show Governments around the world that we have to act now before it’s too late. » said Ellie.

Through her many platforms, she allowed WWF’s #MakeClimateMatter campaign to benefit from her fame.
